[Res-announce] Referendum Results

[Calvanezi, Valerie]

The referendum that took place yesterday, July 11, in Easton and Redding
was passed by an overall majority of voters, authorizing the Region 9
Board of Education to appropriate $1,300,000 to pay for costs associated
with the Joel Barlow Building Project.  The vote count is listed below:

 

Easton:           Yes = 580        No = 721

 

Redding:         Yes = 915        No = 700

 

Total:              Yes = 1495      No = 1421       

 

Passed overall by 74 votes
