 The Annual SSES Art Show Needs Volunteers! 

 

The Annual SSES Art Show will be held this year on Saturday, March 24,
11:00 AM -1:00 PM.  Students will have two-dimensional and
three-dimensional pieces of art on display.  Because of the volume of
work, (over 1500 pieces), we need parent volunteers to help set up on
Friday, March 23 between 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM.  If you can help out for
any amount of time on that day, please e-mail your child's art teacher
with the times you are available.  Thank you!

News from the Art Department

 

Here are the March artists of the month! The art work is displayed in
the foyer behind the grand staircase.  Students were involved in the
anonymous selection process.  Our goal is to have each student develop a
critical eye to evaluate student art and art prints.

Demonstrates respect for the artistic expression of self and others.
